Your place in the team 

To perform assigned accounting and control transaction processing responsibilities in accordance with defined operating procedures. To maintain accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, intercompany and chart of accounting records, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

You will be involved in the following tasks

  • Is a senior professional who works with great independence and has proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Has a good knowledge of the organization's existing systems and processes.
  • As requested, prepares appropriate commentary or explanations relating to report items of particular interest or significance; uses judgment as to what is of interest.
  • Conducts any pertinent investigation of the accounts involved. Contacts colleagues in other departments for the purpose of supplying or explaining data, securing information or describing additional data which could be made available.
  • Gives advice on accounting matters, based on well-established principles and practices.
  • Exercises control over processes in own area. Participates in process improvement.
  • Produces reports to the local and corporate management.
  • Support and manage quarterly 4iG Group reporting (IFRS), stock market reporting – intercompany related tasks
  • Accounting advisory function based on Local GAAP and IFRS on new products, specific accounting questions 
  • End to end responsibility to control IFRS and Local GAAP compliance
  • End to end understanding of month end close cycles and driving related improvement
  • Budgeting of certain PL and BS positions
  • Ad hoc reporting on certain accounting and finance topics to different stakeholders
  • Ownership over certain General Ledger 
  • Management of balance sheet reconciliation processes
  • Responsible / coordinator for external audits.
  • Responsible / coordinator for internal audits. 
  • Responsible to make sure IFRS and HAS regulatory compliance

We are looking for you if you have

  • Hungarian Qualified accountant
  • University / College degree
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • fluent English
  • local GAAP knowledge
  • experience in a multinational environment
  • project management experience
  • computer skills (advanced MS Excel knowledge)
  • SAP experience/knowledge
  • accuracy, attention to detail
  • analytical skills
