Responsibilities

Contribute to the Customer Platform team to develop core services supporting SEON's fraud prevention solution
Deliver high-quality NodeJS, TypeScript and React code with simplicity, performance, and scalability in mind
Design and implement client and database-related application features
Maintain and develop in NodeJS, TypeScript, React, NestJS, REST, RDBMS & backend applications
Support, refine and suggest improvements to the current codebase
Review pull requests and suggest improvements and best practices
Participate in the whole Software Development Life Cycle including design of new features and services
Bring an engineering mindset focused on scalability and continuous improvement

Requirements

At least 5+ years experience in fullstack software engineering (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, REST, RDBMS, NOSQL)
Agile & iterative mindset with end-to-end responsibility
Strong experience in automated tests
Strong experience in performance optimization
Knowledge and understanding of IT security
Experience designing modular systems and refactoring/decoupling monoliths, working with microservices
Familiarity with event-driven architecture
Experience in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
Experience in continuous integration and delivery
Experience working in self-organizing cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience mentoring senior and mid-weight colleagues
English language proficiency
Experience in pair programming, TDD and Trunk Based Development (pro)
Experience in AWS (pro)

Nice-to-have

Hands on experience with Clickhouse (amazing if you also have), Hands on experience with NoSQL (amazing if you also have)
