Responsibilities

Ownership of financial planning and analysis for G&A and operating expenses including headcount, travel and entertainment, software spend, and departmental budgets
Support for R&D and product cost planning including engineering headcount cost planning and capitalization support
Leadership of monthly budget versus actuals cycle for all departments outside GTM and COGS including variance analysis, commentary, and follow-up with budget owners
Preparation of first-draft consolidated reporting and board-deck inputs using FP&A platform
Primary finance business partnership for non-revenue functions providing day-to-day support, insight, and challenge
Ownership of core FP&A system workflows including templates, monthly refreshes, and data integrity

Requirements

5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of monthly close, budget versus actuals, forecasting, and management reporting
Advanced financial modeling skills and comfort working in FP&A tools
Experience partnering with department heads and budget owners with clear and credible communication
Strong attention to detail and bias toward accurate, reliable data
Familiarity with VC-backed startup environment including fundraising cycles, investor reporting, and scaling pace
