For one of our customer, we are looking for a

Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Firmware / Zephyr RTOS).

As a senior developer, you will join a dynamic team working on a strategic project. You will work alongside a developer and a lead developer to contribute to the development and optimization of firmware for new, cutting-edge products.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware in C/C++, primarily on Zephyr RTOS.
• Work with STM32 microcontrollers, including bootloader management.
• Design and implement drivers for various peripherals, such as user interface components (buttons, capacitive sensors, analog sensors, haptic actuators).
• Develop and integrate communication interfaces: Wi-Fi, UART, and proprietary protocols over serial interfaces (SPI).
• Contribute to firmware testing, test automation, and CI pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure seamless integration and optimal firmware performance.

Required experience:

• 3+ years of embedded software / firmware development experience in C/C++
• Expert-level knowledge of Zephyr RTOS
• Strong hands-on experience with Cortex-M microcontrollers, including bootloaders (e.g. MCUboot)
• Solid knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols: Wi-Fi, UART, SPI
• Experience integrating wireless chipsets or modules with a host microcontroller
• Experience in test automation for embedded systems
• Proficiency in programming
• Hands-on experience with CI tools and processes
• Experience using automation tools across Windows and Linux platforms
• Solid understanding of software development best practices
• A strong belief in and experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset
• ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
• Soft skills: authenticity, openness, collaboration, humility, curiosity, and a bias for action Preferred skills:
• Experience with Alif Semiconductor microcontrollers (Ensemble / Balletto families)
• Experience with Infineon wireless solutions (AIROC Wi-Fi / Bluetooth)
• Knowledge of the BLE protocol
• Experience testing human interface devices (HID)
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
• ISTQB certification

Languages:

• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
