Senior DevSecOps Engineer in the region of Basel

Job description
As Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will enhance development environments, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure automation. You support engineering teams, optimise system environments, and ensure adherence to best practices across the software-delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Improve CI/CD pipelines through scripting and automation.
Maintain and optimise development tools, container environments, and OpenShift/Kubernetes components.
Support developers throughout the lifecycle, ensuring best-practice implementation.
Perform root-cause analyses and improve system scalability.
Integrate and enhance tools such as logs, ETL pipelines, and API management.
Expected Profile
You hold a university-level qualification in an IT discipline or have completed an equivalent technical apprenticeship, and you bring several years of current, hands-on DevSecOps experience covering CI/CD pipelines, container technologies and modern development tooling. You work with a holistic view of system environments and contribute actively to engineering improvements.
Additionally:
3+ years of DevSecOps experience; Azure DevOps and Kubernetes preferred
Background in development (ideally .NET) and technologies like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis or Kafka
Strong analytical thinking and holistic system view
Fluent in English
Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required
Willingness to work 100% on-site
