Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer, you will take ownership of our Data Warehouse architecture and SQL cluster environments, including re-engineering initiatives and production rollouts. You will play a key role in ensuring stability, scalability, and performance of our business-critical systems.

Your Responsibilities

Design, development, and continuous improvement of the Data Warehouse environment
Development and optimization of ETL processes
Administration and operation of complex SQL cluster environments
Re-engineering and modernization of existing SQL cluster architectures
Planning and execution of SQL cluster migrations
Responsibility for go-live planning and production deployment
Ensuring high availability, performance, and operational stability
Implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
Implementation of data anonymization concepts in compliance with regulations
Processing and integration of XML structures and related services
Close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate business processes into technical data models

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with
- Oracle Database
- Microsoft SQL Server
Proven experience with SQL Server Clustering (Failover Cluster, Always On Availability Groups)
Experience in SQL cluster re-engineering and system optimization
Solid experience in PSQL (PostgreSQL)
Strong ETL expertise
Experience with dimensional data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake)
Good knowledge of XML technologies (XSD, XSLT, SOAP/REST)
Experience in data anonymization and regulatory compliance
