Responsibilities

Maintaining and evolving data structures
Building new ETL flows and maintaining or improving existing ones
Designing new data structures and data modelling concepts
Ensuring data quality by verifying data consistency and accuracy
Creating data validation methods
Writing, optimizing, and maintaining stored procedures
Investigating, assessing, and developing message-based architectures for data streams
Working under Agile Framework (Scrum 2-week iterations)
Troubleshooting problems and incident management with an investigative mindset
Documenting necessary processes and procedures including creating KBs, runbooks, topology
Taking full ownership of projects and tasks within the team
Working closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely insights to business partners

Requirements

Advanced T-SQL coding
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL 2014 – 2017)
Familiarity with ETL process (SSIS)
Familiarity with data warehouse and ETL concepts
Familiarity with data modelling concepts
Familiarity with reporting and analytical tools (SSRS/SSAS)
Experience with software versioning tools like Git
Knowledge in core database development tuning techniques
Continuous learning mindset
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Nice-to-have

Automation and scripting skills
Additional programming skills (.NET, Python, R, Scala)
Knowledge of Big Data concepts and data streaming architectures
