Senior Data Architect - Space/aeronautics

Job description:

• Responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the space program's data architecture.
• Development of data models and structures to efficiently store and access large volumes of information.
• Integration of diverse data sources (e.g., satellites, ground stations) and implementation of required interfaces.
• Management and maintenance of data throughout its entire lifecycle.
• Assurance of data quality and compliance with all security and regulatory standards.
• Implementation of systems for data processing and analysis.
• Ensuring scalability of the data infrastructure to handle future needs and growing data volumes.
• Guaranteeing high availability, reliability, and performance of the data infrastructure.
• Definition of access policies and protection of data against misuse.

Requirements:

• Completed degree in computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, and/or data management.
• Professional experience in the space sector and familiarity with Dev(Sec)Ops structures.
• Strong hands-on mentality, excellent self-management skills, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
• Ability for connected and analytical thinking, with an eye for complex systems, structures, and processes.
• Strong communication skills and experience with proactive stakeholder management.
