Responsibilities

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement components for systems and tooling platforms
Development and maintenance of desktop applications using C++, including backend and business logic as well as front-end user interface development primarily using Qt
Participation in field testing and support of deployments at live sporting events
Partnership with product teams and customers to refine and deliver solutions
Championing high code quality and contribution to a culture of continuous improvement
Leading technical discussions and contributing to architectural and design decisions
Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level engineers

Requirements

Proficiency in modern C++ (ideally up to C++20)
Experience writing multithreaded, performance-optimised code
Experience building Windows desktop user interfaces, preferably using Qt
Familiarity with tools like Git, Visual Studio, and debugging workflows
Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn from a world-class engineering team

Nice-to-have

Exposure to network protocols, cloud technologies, or video/audio encoding workflows
Experience with AWS, FFmpeg, audio/video processing, or multimedia applications
Experience working on challenges from hardware interfacing and network protocols to audio/video processing and UI development
Passion for sport or experience working in high-performance environments
