Responsibilities

Business requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation for analytics/reporting use cases
Workshop moderation and stakeholder alignment across business functions, IT, and external partners
Translation of business needs into clear, testable functional requirements
Ensuring completeness, consistency, testability and readiness of requirements for implementation
Analysis and mapping of end-to-end business processes and related data flows in SAP ECC
Understanding and validation of value and quantity streams relevant for analytics
Ensuring correct business logic and semantic consistency for KPIs, measures, and dimensional models
Translation of business process logic into analytics and reporting requirements
Collaboration with solution architects and BI/analytics teams for solution shaping and feasibility
Contribution to target concepts for modern analytics including data products and governance
Support of transition towards modern analytical approaches and platforms
Creation and maintenance of prioritized backlog and support of release planning
Coordination and steering of external consultants/developers from a functional perspective
Support of functional testing and user enablement including documentation and trainings
Ensuring proper documentation and user enablement

Requirements

University degree in Business Informatics, IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar
Several years of experience as Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Functional Consultant in an SAP-centric environment
Proven track record in requirement engineering and stakeholder management in complex, cross-functional settings
Strong understanding of SAP ERP ECC processes and data especially quantities and value flows
Experience translating business process logic into KPI definitions and reporting requirements
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Structured, analytical thinking and ability to handle ambiguity
Ability to translate between business language and IT delivery language
High ownership, reliability, and quality mindset
Experience working in an international, virtual team
Strong requirement engineering mindset
Confidence in stakeholder management

Nice-to-have

Understanding of analytics architectures and concepts, Exposure to SAP BW, BW4HANA, CDS-based concepts, or other SAP analytics components, Familiarity with transformation programs from legacy solutions toward modern data/analytics platforms
