Responsibilities

Supporting the development of a stable and scalable Kotlin and Spring Boot back-end from the ground up
Collaborating closely with Customer Support (L1) and Infrastructure Support (L2) teams to manage escalations and resolve operational issues
Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for reliable 24/7 client support
Crafting code adhering to the highest industry standards with seamless integration to CI tools
Collaborating within a dynamic team environment on cutting-edge tech initiatives
Bringing an architectural perspective to the planning process
Guiding and mentoring junior developers

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Java ecosystem with familiarity with Java 17, 21
Deep understanding of Spring Boot
Experience with an observability platform (Grafana, LGTM, ELK stack, or NewRelic)
Proven ability to troubleshoot under pressure and recommend impactful solutions
Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis)
Experience with Kubernetes
Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider (preferably AWS)
DevOps mindset of continuous improvement
Strong OOP mindset and commitment to SOLID principles
Intermediate level of English language skills

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Helm
Genuine interest in staying up-to-date with latest industry trends
Passion for writing clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices
