Responsibilities

Build and evolve backend microservices in Go (new features, performance work, reliability improvements).
Work with production Python-based components when needed across the broader service landscape.
Participate in architecture discussions and cross-team integrations.
Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and quality.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years commercial Go, with a background in high-load, production-critical systems.
Senior-level Golang expertise with strong fundamentals.
Strong SQL/PostgreSQL skills including query plan understanding and performance optimization.
Practical Kafka experience and understanding of event-driven processing.
Good understanding of microservices and REST/JSON APIs.
Familiarity with services running in Kubernetes-based environments.
Production-level exposure to Python systems.
Strong ownership mindset and collaboration skills.
Engineering maturity with realistic estimates, thoughtful implementation, sufficient testing, and careful releases.
English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
