Responsibilities

Full execution of the accounting tasks for Helpers Hungary and Helpers Finance, Up-to-date Hungarian knowledge of taxation and accounting regulations (local GAAP)
Payroll processing and related administrative tasks (optional, depending on the candidate’s experience),
Close cooperation with Helpers Hungary in any accountancy or taxation related issues, guidance for account managers with basic client’s taxation questions,
Support for controlling internal reporting, P&L, ad-hoc analysis, forecasts of costs, profitability etc,
Informing colleagues and clients about relevant changes, proactive implementation of any required modifications in procedures,
Representation of Helpers Hungary, Helpers Finance at the tax authority (when needed),
Preparation and submission VAT returns and related reports

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

holds a certified accountant diploma or equivalent certification (OKJ),
has 5-8 years’ experience in accounting,
has experience with NAV audits,
communicates clearly and professionally in Hungarian and English (spoken and written),
is confident and assertive, hard-working, organized person with an affinity for logical thinking, and exceptional attention to detail, and
is a confident user of computers (especially accounting softwares, Microsoft Office, Outlook, knowledge of Salesforce is a plus).

This position is ideal for a dynamic and motivated person with a chartered accountant certification (and relevant experience) who is interested in working in a truly international environment.

Nice-to-have

certificate in payroll is an advantage
