• Monthly Closing & Reporting: Supervise and coordinate the complete monthly, interim, and year-end reporting processes, ensuring adherence to strict Group deadlines.
• Statutory & Group Compliance: Lead the preparation of financial statements in compliance with both Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS) and IFRS.
• Process Improvement: Continuously develop and improve the closing and reporting processes based on regulatory changes, internal policies, and evolving business needs, particularly related to high-volume retail transactions.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate all audit activities (external and internal), ensure timely and accurate information delivery, and supervise the implementation of audit-related adjustments.
• Policy Implementation: Support the preparation and implementation of accounting policies and changes in both statutory and group reporting practices.
. Startup Process Development: Work closely with management to design, establish, and standardize key financial processes essential for scaling the company.
B. Tax Management & Compliance

• Tax Authority and Audit Management: The role requires serving as the primary liaison for the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV) during all inquiries and audits
C. Leadership and Operations
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the internal accounting team: define roles, set objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and propose training or development plans.
• Strategic Support: Monitor and optimize cost-effective financial operations in line with the company’s strategy.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with the Managing Director, Group CFO, and other extended international team members.
