School Nurse

Are you a caring professional with a passion for student well-being? Our Partner is looking for a dedicated School Nurse to support the health and safety of school community. In this role, you will provide first aid, manage health records, coordinate screenings and vaccinations, and offer health advice to staff, students, and families. Bilingual communication (English and Hungarian) and a proactive, calm approach are essential.

- Provide timely, effective and high-quality healthcare support by treating injuries, managing illnesses, and delivering first aid to students
- Support students, families, and staff with guidance on health-related matters and well-being
- Organise and coordinate health screenings and vaccination programs in partnership with healthcare authorities (School Doctor and his Nurse), while managing communication with parents and staff and preparing documentation
- Maintain confidential health records, review medical documents, and create individual care plans as needed
- Monitor, replenish, and maintain well-organised first aid kits, including those used for school trips and off-site activities, ensuring they are always complete and ready for use
- Develop and uphold clear policies and protocols on student illness, medical leave, and immunisation in line with school standards and health regulations
- Support the development of an internal first aid response system with training
- Attend sports events for medical help
- Work collaboratively with the school reception

- Certified in First Aid and relevant healthcare field (High School Diploma or Health College Certification, Registered or Certified Nurse)
- Experience in managing medical records and health screenings
- Skilled in providing first aid, especially to young children
- Strong communication skills in both English and Hungarian
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional discretion
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Patient, adaptable, and calm under pressure
