Responsibilities

System Architecture & Integration: Design and maintain SAP S4/HANA architecture, define integration patterns and APIs, and implement complementary finance tools to ensure seamless system interoperability.
Technical Delivery & Execution: Lead development efforts, including external teams, to implement and customize financial systems and interfaces, ensuring scalability, performance, and Agile delivery support.
System Optimization & Innovation: Drive automation and analytics initiatives, implement tools for real-time financial insights, and stay updated on SAP and finance tech trends.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure systems comply with internal controls, audits, and regulations, collaborating with cybersecurity and data governance teams to protect data integrity.
Collaboration with Product Owner: Serve as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner, translating business needs into technical solutions and providing insights for product decisions.
Support & Knowledge Sharing: Monitor system KPIs, lead issue resolution, maintain documentation, and mentor junior team members to foster technical excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s preferred.
5+ years in ERP systems implementation and integration, with at least 2 years in SAP S4/HANA environments.
Deep technical expertise in SAP S4/HANA (FI/CO) and integration tools. High level understanding of SAP SD, MM and other modules.
Experience with financial reporting platforms (e.g., BW/4HANA, SAC, Power BI).
Strong understanding of finance processes in manufacturing/logistics.
Proficiency in system architecture, API design, and cloud-based deployments.
Excellent problem-solving, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Working proficiency in English and native Hungarian language skill
