The SAP Consultant (MM) is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating SAP materials management processes within the organization. This role involves analyzing business needs to configure and customize SAP ECC 6.0 to align with business requirements. Key tasks include gathering user needs, system configuration, testing, training, and providing ongoing support to ensure the smooth operation of the SAP system across the Materials functions.

Feladatok

Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers and partners
Supports the SAP MM Module with the use, optimization, and configuration of SAP
Defines and gathers requirements for enhancements and implementations within the MM Module
Ensures all system processes, customizations, and configurations meet quality standards
Works with developers and technical staff to implement functional specifications and resolve any issues.
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner
Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality
Provide comprehensive training to end users on how to utilize SAP systems effectively
Identify opportunities to optimize business processes within the SAP system and recommend improvements
Provide support when needed on a 24x7x365 basis for our application environments

Elvárások

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related discipline such as information systems, computer science, or supply chain management
3-5 years of related professional experience in SAP
Functional and technical experience with large SAP ECC 6.0 implementations and support
Experience in managing offshore functional and development activities from design through user acceptance
Experience requirements include working with and/or facilitating:
o Project methodology
o Gathering information and/or data gathering process
o Generating process models
o Developing functional specifications of new processes, data, and physical environment
o Creating functional integration test specifications, conducting tests, and conducting customer acceptance testing.
o Working with all types of business processes, understanding the components of each business process, and how various business processes integrate
Corporate or manufacturing site experience in the following functional areas:
o Purchasing
o Vendor Invoicing
o Vendor Pricing
o Purchase Orders / Scheduling Agreements
o Vendor Master
o Inbound Receipts
o Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
o Knowledge of EDI
Language knowledge: English (fluency in reading, writing, and speaking)
