Responsibilities

Governance and definition of operational, high-performing solutions aligned to enterprise vision and goals
Ensuring transparency throughout the SAP landscape
Industrialization of implementations through well defined templates
Participation in AOP discussions and phase zero discussions around new rollouts
Definition, maintenance and publication of an inventory of ERP landscape, solutions and roadmaps
Collaboration with business IT and business teams to understand business operations roadmaps, operational challenges and requirements
Delivery of regular proof of concepts for new technology initiatives and functionality
Influencing discussions and roadmaps with ETO, IT and business colleagues
Definition and maintenance of SAP roadmaps with focus on innovation and scalability
Evaluation of new SAP technologies and capabilities with partners and vendors
Preparation and provision of demonstrations of existing and new SAP capabilities
Alignment with functional and technical delivery teams and leaders to ensure governance, compliance and architectural discipline
Ensuring SAP solutions follow security, compliance controls, and IT security standards
Collaboration with ETS Architect colleagues to ensure consistency of approach, sharing of solutions and innovations, and knowledge cross-pollination

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience
Demonstrated ability in ERP consultancy or analysis
SAP certification in at least one functional module
Strong functional and technical abilities in SAP ERP with exposure to SAP S/4HANA
Experience of at least three end-to-end SAP deployments
Knowledge of costs and risks associated with ERP
Understanding of DevOps and Agile principles
Strong presentation skills
Self-starter ability to work unsupervised and set own agenda for SAP architect function growth
Self confidence and ability to influence and present to internal key customers
Good interpersonal and excellent documentation skills
Good business and finance acuity and experience

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of additional software add-ons such as SAP Ariba, SAP B/W, SAP Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Manhattan WMS, SAP Solution Manager, Precision, Cloud computing knowledge, JDE E1 exposure
