Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance SAP HCM functionalities with a primary focus on Payroll (DE/CH/AT), Time Evaluation, and Pension-related processes.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize payroll results, time evaluation logic, and cluster data.
- Develop enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and various integration interfaces (RFC, IDoc, proxies, APIs).
- Provide support for Payroll Year-End activities, operational follow-up tasks, and issue resolution.
- Work on integrations with SuccessFactors Employee Central and external systems (experience with CPI is an advantage).
- Handle incidents and change requests using standard ITSM and agile tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA), including effort estimation and implementation.
- Collaborate with technical teams on system maintenance, upgrades, patches, and testing cycles.
- Offer expert guidance to business stakeholders to ensure process reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to development best practices.
Requirements
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP/ABAP OO, HR-Forms, and complex SAP HCM development.
- Strong knowledge of Payroll schemas, PCRs, Time Evaluation, and cluster analysis.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA-based HCM solutions (H4S4), HANA DB, Fiori, or modernization initiatives is a plus.
- Solid understanding of integration technologies: CPI, RFC, IDoc, API-based communication.
- Experience with payroll specifics for German-speaking countries (DE/CH/AT) is beneficial.
- Ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to coding standards and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English (German is a huge plus)
