To assist industry in its’ journey to become more circular and environmentally friendly, DSV offers a range of distributed manufacturing and repair services, at the forefront of which is our predictive analytics tools to help drive the best business outcomes for customers.

To help us grow and expand these services within the Europe, DSV is now looking to appointment a

Sales Manager (Technical) - European region

Task:

The Role
  • Reporting to the Global Head of Repair Services, you will be responsible for new revenue generation within the Europe region.  Working with your global sales counterparts along with the country account management teams, you will successfully hunt for new logo customers whilst at the same identifying opportunities to upsell technical solutions to existing customers.
Key Tasks
  • Aligned to the company goals, you will formulate your sales and revenue generation strategy against which you will execute to ensure annual targets are met.
  • Working with our Sales Analysts and Corporate Marketing you will ensure effective sales lead generation occurs through the design and deployment of digital marketing campaigns.
  •  You will of course be a dab hand at finding sales leads using the traditional face-to-face approach.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify their needs and match those to the complex technical solutions which you are selling.
  • You will keep abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to adjust your sales strategy accordingly.
  • And what counts the most, you will be effective at negotiating and closing deals, you will lead and take ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation right through to the signing of the contract.
  • Supported by the Sales Analyst and Solutions Design Engineer, you will lead the sales proposal bidding process and will compile, submit and present the solution towards the client. 

Expectation:

  • Ideally you will possess a university bachelor’s degree (min 2:2) in a Manufacturing or Business-related subject or possess the commensurate industry experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, particularly in technical sales and with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • A strong understanding of the technical aspects of the services you are selling, especially the 3Cs (Computers, Communication and Consumer Electronics) Product Assembly and Repair, PCBA Manufacture and Repair and experience of selling outsourced supply chain and spare parts management solutions would be beneficial.
  • You will be an experienced user of CRM, ideally MS Dynamics or similar.
  • You will possess impeccable communication and presentation skills and will be adept at articulating complex technical solutions clearly.
  • You will have a high proficiency and ability to close deals.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
