Responsibilities
As our Sales Manager, you will play a central role in building and executing LynXes’ international sales strategy.
Your main tasks will include:
- Developing sales strategies and business plans together with the executive management team
- Building and managing a structured B2B sales pipeline
- Selling laboratory spectrometers and measurement services to academic and industrial customers
- Identifying and developing new markets and business opportunities
- Building and expanding an international customer database and professional network
- Managing and developing relationships with key accounts
- Conducting follow-ups, customer communication, email campaigns, and video calls
- Organizing and attending personal meetings and on-site customer visits
- Representing LynXes at international conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and scientific events
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
- Managing and supervising the complete sales process from lead generation and pre-sales to product demonstrations, testing, quotation, and final sales
- Implementing and managing CRM systems and sales workflows
- Preparing regular sales reports and performance updates for management
- Working closely with the CMO and reporting directly to the CEO
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has:
- University degree in materials science/physics/chemistry/related disciplines (PhD preferred)
- An additional MBA or intensive B2B Sales Training certification
- At least 5 years of international sales experience in relevant technical fields
- Proven B2B sales experience in areas such as:
- scientific instrumentation
- laboratory equipment
- analytical instruments
- medical devices
- deep tech or R&D-related technologies
We are specifically looking for someone who understands complex technical products and can communicate effectively both with researchers in academia and with industrial decision-makers.

- Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential
- Additional languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are a strong advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Highly proactive, resilient, and results-oriented personality
- Willingness to travel extensively internationally
- CRM system knowledge
This position is open internationally — candidates do not necessarily need to be based in Budapest or be Hungarian nationals. However, regular presence at our Budapest headquarters for meetings and coordination is expected.
