Description
The FIFA Museum celebrates and safeguards football heritage and culture to share the magic of the game with the entire world. With exceptional exhibitions, unique original objects, fascinating stories, multimedia and interactive experiences as well as thought-provoking cultural and educational programs, the home of football history is a lively and passionate platform for fans and visitors to meet, connect and engage with each other.
We are looking for a Sales Manager 100% with immediate effect or by arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Achievement of sales targets and sustainable revenue growth in line with the sales strategy
Development and implementation of sales plans to expand the FIFA Museum's B2B and B2C customer base
Primary point of contact for customers, including active management of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
Identification and follow-up of national and international sales opportunities
Maintenance and further development of the customer database in close collaboration with the Event Services team
Close cooperation with internal departments (Events, Guest Relations, Shop, Gastronomy, Exhibitions, Heritage) to further develop commercial offerings
Management of strategic ticketing partnerships to increase visitor numbers
Oversight of sales plans, KPIs, and reporting for ongoing business and tenders
Ensuring efficient sales processes and contract execution in collaboration with the Commercial Legal team
Support in new business pitches and onboarding of new clients
Representation of the FIFA Museum at industry events and support of the Director Commercial in shaping and executing the sales strategy
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Mandatory Requirements for This Position:
Several years of experience in Sales Management, Account Management, CRM, or international sales
Solid industry experience and an established network within the sports, events/MICE, or hospitality sector - ideally in football or within cultural or tourism institutions
Excellent written and spoken German and English (additional FIFA languages such as French or Spanish are an advantage)
Strong proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (reporting and analysis) and PowerPoint (preparation of professional presentations), is essential for the successful performance of this role
Additional Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies as well as in business development
In-depth knowledge of selling digital content and advertising, including digital and social media platforms and analytics
Strong sales drive, high customer orientation, and proven negotiation skills
Excellent ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Analytical and structured working style with strong execution capabilities
Ability to prioritize effectively and perform successfully in a dynamic, international environment
