Responsibilities

Scope of Duties

Leading sales from offer creation with our suppliers through to order execution, supported by an in-house sales coordinator, in the field of packaging materials (mainly food contact materials for thermoformers, tray sealers, and flow-pack machines)
Follow-up on the usage and application of sold materials at customer sites, supported by VICTUS technicians and dedicated equipment suppliers
Portfolio management: organization of the current portfolio supported by Management, new and existing product follow-up, optimization of current packaging solutions, and development of further customer-oriented solutions with the assistance of suppliers
Direct coordination with Managing Director and Key Account Manager on key accounts and sales strategy in Hungary

Your Tasks

Packaging solutions from the Best in the EU to Hungary

Independent sales and management of projects for the development and implementation of primary packaging on the territory of Hungary
Participation in international development teams for the introduction of new packaging materials and formats from the first idea to product roll-out
Documentation and specifications of packaging materials according to technical, ecological, and regulatory requirements (including establishment of database at Victus)
Technical and commercial contact with Hungarian customers across purchasing, marketing, R&D, production and quality control from early development to serial production

Innovation and Sustainability

Participation in innovation projects in cooperation with our suppliers in the food packaging materials sector.
Participation in sustainability projects via innovative formats/materials or optimisation of the current portfolio
Market screening and analysis for new technologies, packaging materials, packaging trends and sustainability developments

Continuous Improvement

Contributing to Operational Excellence initiatives within VICTUS service operation
Collaboration in root cause analysis for quality-related issues

Your Training at Victus

A thorough training program at supplier sites, mainly in Germany and other EU countries, particularly during the first 1–2 years (repeated stays of 2–5 working days outside Hungary), after a 3-month probationary period
Close mentoring by colleagues covering sales, technological, and service aspects prior to external training
Hands-on training with the equipment on which packaging materials are used, in order to understand the processes and technical background of each application

Requirements

Your Profile

Completed studies in packaging, food processing, or a related field, with experience in the food sector or in supplying materials to the food industry
Basic knowledge of packaging materials, preferably in the food industry and/or related industries
Good project management skills and experience in leading interdisciplinary projects
Independent, responsible and result-oriented working style
Strong communication and social skills, as well as an analytical mindset
Proficient in MS Office and related programs
Very good written and spoken English is a requirement, additional languages are an advantage. The job interview will be conducted in English by two Managing Directors (Hungary and Austria)
