RPA Developer (UiPath) & Solution Architect

The RPA Developer (UiPath) & Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-class automation solutions using UiPath. This hybrid role combines hands-on RPA development with solution architecture responsibilities, ensuring that automation initiatives are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with internal customers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver measurable value and continuous improvement.

Working type: Hybrid (on-site 1 week/month)

RPA Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and configure automation workflows using UiPath, following technical design documents and coding standards.
• Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Build, test, and deploy RPA bots, ensuring operational stability and performance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing RPA solutions.
• Document solution design, operation, and troubleshooting procedures.

Solution Architecture

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reusable, and secure automation solutions.
• Ensure alignment with global IT strategies and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate RPA solutions into business processes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Relationship Management

• Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and realistic expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Manage and prioritise the backlog of automation requests, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value.

Project & Change Management

• Support end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation through delivery and post-implementation support.
• Communicate project risks and issues to delivery/project managers and contribute to change control processes.
• Drive change management activities, ensuring business impact is understood and risks are mitigated.

Performance, Compliance & Risk Management

• Monitor RPA system performance and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
• Identify and manage operational risks, supporting incident and problem management processes.
• Drive metrics management and continuous improvement through data-driven analysis.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery and solution alignment.
• Mentor  team members and contribute to talent development within the IT function.

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with RPA (UiPath) or equivalent experience in business or alternative RPA tools
• Strong understanding of SQL fundamentals; knowledge of LINQ and Python is a plus.
• Background in object-oriented programming.
• UiPath Developer Certification (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and present technical solutions clearly.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work well under pressure.
• Good English language skills (minimum B2 level).
• Experience in solution architecture or business analysis (desirable).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (required).
