Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence investigations, perform detailed background checks and due diligence investigations on customers.
  • Participate in the formulation of the annual recovery plan, defining recovery objectives, strategies and implementation approaches, and coordinate the execution of approved plans following management approval.
  • Actively participate in communication meetings with all parties involved in restructuring projects to gather comprehensive information.
  • Analyze financial statements, restructure plan, macro- and micro environment, industry related and other non-financial dates. Identify and assess risks related to potential credit business.
  • Identify, evaluate, and quantify risks associated with loan restructuring, including repayment ability, restructuring feasibility, and potential risk migration.
  • Assess the authenticity and sustainability of repayment sources and the effectiveness of proposed restructuring measures.
  • Prepare, compile, and present due diligence and risk assessment reports, clearly summarizing findings, key issues, and conclusions.
  • Provide clear, practical, and actionable recommendations to management and credit approval committees based on due diligence results
  • Ensure all due diligence activities comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with risk controlling, legal, compliance, and business departments to support credit decision-making and post-restructuring management.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with external third-party service providers, including law firms, asset management companies and valuation firms, and coordinate external resources to support recovery and restructuring activities.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks related to restructured and distressed credit assets.
  • Maintain close communication and coordination with Head Office functions, ensuring timely alignment with policy requirements, escalation of material matters and approval of recovery and restructuring actions.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in economics, ideally with at least two years of professional experience in the banking or financial sector.
  • Proficient in using MS Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Independent and results-oriented working style
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured approach
  • Excellent command of German and English; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
