Responsibilities
- Definition and improvement of metrics representing product performance and operations efficiency
- Data collection from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Data cleaning, organization, and transformation into usable formats for analysis
- Identification of inefficiencies and suggestion of solutions
- Assessment of solutions through backtesting, A/B testing and modeling
- Collaboration with Data Engineers to improve the data landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data science
- Comprehensive understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, visualization and ML packages)
- Expertise in machine learning and math modeling for data analysis and interpretation
- Strong proficiency in causal inference methods
- Proven track record of A/B test design and result interpretation
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Spark
- Experience with Metabase and Grafana
- Experience working in Agile environments or collaborating with development teams
- Team player skills
- Highly organized and rigorous thinking
- Detail-oriented and result-oriented attitude
- Quick learning ability and independent working capability
- Adaptability to constant requirement changes and fast solution production
