Responsibilities

Requirements collection, analysis, and documentation for HV battery systems, modules, and lithium-based cells
Creation of requirement specifications aligned with battery standards, safety regulations, and technical constraints
Development and maintenance of requirements traceability matrices for all battery system components
Collaboration with stakeholders including OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to clarify battery-related requirements
Identification of requirement-related risks in battery system development and proposal of mitigation strategies
Support of change, requirements, risk, and release management within battery development projects
Contribution to project plans and timelines based on battery system requirements
Coordination with testing, QA, integration, and requirements management teams involved in battery development
Alignment of CAD design activities for battery components with defined system requirements

Requirements

Studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or Chemistry
Interest in vehicle technology and manufacturing processes
Deep interest in battery development
Knowledge of at least one CAD software such as CATIA or NX
Confident handling of MS Office
Previous experience in 3D/2D design
At least B2 level in English and German languages
Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
Strong analytical mindset with focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
