On behalf of our international client operating in the energy sector, we are looking for a Reporting Specialist, who has a knowledge and hands-on experience working in US GAAP for the following tasks:

- Work with external service provider to prepare and complete all tasks associated with the monthly accounting and closing cycle of international subsidiaries within assigned deadlines
- Complete conversion of financial statements from local GAAP to US GAAP for international subsidiaries, including FX translations and intercompany transaction analysis
- Ensure expedient closing of consolidated books and records for multi-tier holding companies and their majority and minority owned affiliate companies.
- Review and/or prepare monthly GL account reconciliations, journal entries, reclassifications and reallocations
- Collaborate in overseeing timely delivery of audit schedules and general audit support.
- Perform various design, testing and implementation roles on ad hoc projects to enhance related systems, reporting modules, and information requests
- Seek constant process improvement opportunities and propose relevant process changes to improve efficiency, timeliness, and reduce redundancy of work. Assist with documentation of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Provide expertise to others for processes in the senior accountant’s area of responsibility.
