Regional Procurement Coordinator
Main tasks, responsibilities:
- Responsible for applying the NPM governance on regional level and efficieny programs based on NPM frameworks (e-catalogues / vending machines)
- Drive actions in case efficiency / correctness regional targets (eg. maverick spend, automatic PO processing) not fulfilled
- Proactively enhance the cooperation between the regional purchasing team and strategic sourcing team, optimize the supply base for Region / Location. Ensure the implementation of global and regional contract at plant level
- Ensure the NPM Commodity Strategy is aligned with the local stakeholder needs and ensure regional legislations /regulations are considered in contracting
- Align regional stakeholder and their regional requirements and ensure timing with suppliers according project timeline
- Responsible for regional supplier management and scouting, pro-active and independently monitoring and analysing of the sourcing markets and trends including new supplier technologies and capabilities
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the regional supplier performance and drive actions in case of deviations
- Manage the daily purchasing activities for purchasing department
- Driving actions to fulfill regional commodity targets broken down by NPM HQ
- Responsible to achieve regional project targets (budgets) aligned with regional stakeholders and ensure approval process in case of deviation
- Responsible for the RFQ process for regional projects including offer analysis, negotiations, recommendation for decision making (procurement council) and regional board
- Responsible for KPI setting and performance tracking of NPM team
- Responsible for reporting and data analysis, define and implement sustainable saving plan
- Regional contracting and contract management including adaption to regional legislation / regulations
- Responsible for inquiry, price comparison, business negotiation, supplier nomination, contract signing and management (within threshold values), follow up delivery status and quality issue (incl. inclusive Claim Management
Requirements:
- University or college degree
- At least 5 years of work experience in purchasing
- At least 3 years of leadership / team management
- 2+ years of experience in project management
- Fluent in oral and written English
- High analytical skillset combined with strategic and conceptual mind-set
- Excellent communicator with excellent relationship management
- Intercultural adaptability with high capability of conflict management
- Results driven mind-set
