The Specialist Regional Commodity NPM Procurement is responsible for implementing regional commodity strategies within their respective region and ensuring alignment with local business needs. This role bridges regional strategy and local execution, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and ensuring supply security in the assigned locations.

  • Translate regional commodity strategies into actionable local plans
  • Provide local market intelligence and feedback to Senior Manager Regional Commodity NPM and/or Regional Commodity Managers NPM
  • Identify and mitigate local supply risks or claims
  • Manage and develop local supplier base in alignment with global and/or regional strategies
  • Conduct local negotiations and implement global and/or regional agreements locally
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement trough saving measures
  • Support plants and business units in resolving supply issues according to the cross functional responsibility matrix and escalation guideline
  • Ensure compliance with PSM Governance, procurement policies and regulatory standards
  • Track and report local KPIs
  • Act as the primary contact for local stakeholders on commodity-related procurement topics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Maximum 3 years of experience in procurement or commodity management, preferably with regional/local exposure
  • German language is preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of regional and/or local supply markets and regulations
