Our prestigious partner is a leading manufacturer of wood products, such as premium decors, TFL and laminate products for architects, designers, fabricators, furniture makers and more. We are looking for their next team member in the following role:
Recycling purchasing specialist - Wood
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase of wood recyclable materials: packaging materials, industrial wood waste, waste from construction or demolition sector
- Purchase of recyclable products from producers and traders
- Creation of customer database and logistical structures
- Processing and negotiating appropriate sales contracts and monitoring compliance with them
- Collaboration in drawing up quantity and cost plans
- Gathers all orders/information, in accordance with internal procedures
- Collaborates with customers, company suppliers, transporters, area distributors, importers, etc.
- Checks the correctness of the preparation of Receipt Notes based on incoming invoices
- Checks the existence, accuracy and method of labelling
- Storage of wood waste, according to the requirements of the laws in force
- Strictly adheres to procedures and guidelines regarding anti-cartel, anti-corruption laws as well as all other guidelines in accordance with the rules of the company
- Price negotiations with suppliers and customers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in wood/recycling materials or in waste business (wood, metallic, plastic…),
- Working in an international company could be an advantage
- English advanced (or German advanced)
- Willingness to travel in the country
- Good communication skills
- Driving license B
