Quantitative Risk Developer - /PySpark/Snowflake/Risk Models/Simulations
Project:
For our client in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Risk Quantitative Developer. In this role you will design, develop and optimize quantitative risk models and simulation-based analytics using , PySpark and Snowflake, supporting key risk management and trading decisions in a data-driven environment.
Assignments:
Design, implement and maintain quantitative risk models in
Develop scalable data processing pipelines and analytics solutions using PySpark in a distributed environment
Build and optimize data-driven solutions and risk reporting layers on Snowflake
Implement and enhance Monte Carlo or similar simulation methods for scenario and sensitivity analyses
Ensure model quality through rigorous testing, validation, documentation and performance tuning
Contribute to best practices, coding standards and continuous improvement of the quantitative development framework
Support migration, integration and industrialization of models from prototypes to production-grade systems
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantitative Developer, Risk Modeler or Developer with quant focus
More than 3 years of experience developing software solutions in and Pyspark
Proven working experience with Snowflake
Solid understanding of quantitative methods for risk analysis
Experience with Monte Carlo simulations or similar simulation techniques for risk purposes
Previous exposure to the energy industry is a strong plus
Strong understanding of software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD, code reviews)
Languages:
Englisch fluent (C1 / C2 Level)
German nice to have
