Responsibilities

Development of thorough conceptual and practical understanding of MSCI analytics by applying them to realistic investment management problems
Driving new sales and client adoption using MSCI analytics understanding
Establishment of model validation standards
Identification of new opportunities for model and product innovation
Conducting and publishing applied research on market and regulatory developments related to MSCI analytics
Engagement with clients in an advisory capacity
Identification of new commercial opportunities

Requirements

Strong quantitative skills
Programming skills
Problem solving skills
Deep interest in financial modeling
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate at a high-level to varied audiences
Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in finance, physics, mathematics, statistics, operations research, economics or another quantitative discipline
Ability to work independently
Ability to work as part of a team
Time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects

Nice-to-have

Background in finance
Experience in designing, implementing and testing quantitative models
