Responsibilities

Applied research and model validation in investment management
Critical evaluation of MSCI analytics models
Application of models to real-world investment problems
Enhancement of model quality and product strategy
Support of sales for new analytical models
Provision of modeling recommendations backed by empirical analysis
Publication of applied research on market and regulatory developments
Client advisory and engagement
Identification of new commercial opportunities

Requirements

Strong quantitative skills
Programming skills
Problem solving skills
Deep interest in financial modeling
Meticulous attention to detail
Effective high-level communication skills
Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in finance, physics, mathematics, statistics, operations research, economics or another quantitative discipline
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management skills including handling multiple projects

Nice-to-have

Background in finance or experience in designing, implementing and testing quantitative models
