Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management
Collaboration with the HSE manager in accordance with ISO 14001 environmental management and IPPC environmental regulations, EUCEB certification
Supervising the internal laboratory and lab engineers
Oversee and coordinate all quality management activities for the glass wool manufacturing plant
Establish and develop comprehensive quality policies for the company
Convert the quality strategy of the glass wool manufacturing unit into action plans and ensure their implementation
Contribute to the strategic and operational planning of the glass wool manufacturing unit, considering investments and capacity
Guarantee the achievement of quality objectives aligned with customer expectations in the glass wool manufacturing context
Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities, applying quality methods, specifically tailored to the challenges of glass wool production
Initiate and oversee investments in quality equipment (e.g., software, laboratory equipment, etc.)
Conduct internal and external audits on quality compliance and good practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, Quality Assurance Engineer or Chemical Engineer is preferable
5 to 7 years’ experience in quality assurance and manufacturing field
Ability to adapt and interpret regulations
Excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
Adaptability to changing environmental industry requirements
Fluency in both spoken and written English is required

Nice-to-have

Experience in managing quality aspects of glass wool or stone wool manufacturing equipment’s
