Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing: Oversee routine laboratory testing of rubber compounds, burst pressure, tensile strength, and leak resistance. Manage in-process and finished goods inspections.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to industry certifications such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, requirements. Drive the Quality Management System (QMS) across production lines.
Defect Reduction & CAPA: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to minimize scrap and rework.
Customer & Supplier Quality: Address customer complaints, resolve on-site fitment issues, and evaluate incoming raw materials and polymers from vendors.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise lab and quality technicians. Monitor shift operations and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for upper management.

Requirements

Production supervision and manpower management
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality requirements
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Leadership and communication skills
Basic reporting and documentation
Knowledge of safety practices and shop-floor discipline

Education & experience:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in rubber hose, rubber products, automotive components, or process industries is preferred.
