Responsibilities
Role Mission Statement
Reporting to the Group Quality Director and supporting the Country General Manager, the job holder is responsible for the day-to-day control of the nominated country’s Quality Assurance activities encompassing driving corrective action, training to process and best practice, delivery of new processes or practices and supporting improvement programmes. The job holder shall investigate all accidents, incidents and customer complaints, ensuring that all concerns are clearly documented, reported and resolved in accordance with legislative and customer requirements.
You will be responsible for:
- Achievement of the country’s quality objectives and quality BMI targets for corrective action.
- Assisting the Operations Team in the resolution of internal and customer quality concerns using the PDCA philosophy to ensure the prompt close out and prevention of further issues.
- Analysis of customer satisfaction results, customer complaint trends and internal corrective action trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing countermeasures.
- Managing the country customer and internal corrective action reports ensuring that all customers receive a timely and comprehensive response to all complaints and that overall closure targets are met.
- Support continuous improvement in the country’s operations with a strong focus on delivering effective training to the operations teams in Group standard process and best practice.
- Act as mentor to the operations teams to embed the application of the Group standard process and best practice in the day-to-day running of operations.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in the preparation for external certification audits.
- Liaison with key customer quality departments to review on-going performance trends, review any adverse trends and quality concerns. Engage with and develop a working relationship with key customer quality decision makers.
- Provide reporting for the Group Quality Director as required.
Conditions
The jobholder will be normally based in the field (Debrecen) or at the Head Office and will be expected to spend time away from home including periods abroad occasionally at short notice as required to support the business needs.
Requirements
- degree in quality assurance or engineering discipline
- English knowledge – negotiation level
- at least 5 years of managerial experience in the field of quality management in manufacturing and/or automotive sector
- high level knowledge of MS Office
- willingness to travel around Hungary, undertaking foreign assignments as necessary
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- analytical skills, creativity, presentation skills
- result orientation, ability to assert interests
- quality-oriented thinking
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 and core tools
- German language skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in a customer facing role
