Quality Assurance Specialist
Task:
- Reading blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
- Outlining quality assurance procedures and policies.
- Ensuring the efficiency of inspections through hands-on guidance.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Preparing reports on the results of quality inspections.
- Evaluating outcomes of quality inspections and proposing corrective measures.
- Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
- Handling and evaluating catalogue item malfunction reports and escalating corrections and corrective actions.
- Evaluating suppliers, vendors and service providers.
- Following-up on supplier performance, including corrections and corrective actions.
- Executing internal and external supplier audits.
- Selecting output samples and checking them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
- Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discarding any that doesn’t meet requirements.
- Preparing and submitting reports to the quality manager.
Expectation:
- Minimum 3 years of QA experience
- Certification in Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS)
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Problem-solving and conflict management.
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IEC…)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of MS Office
