Feladatok
AUTONOMOUS TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented QA Engineer to test both software and hardware components, ensuring our products meet high quality standards. The role combines strong manual testing skills with some automation and on-site field testing using drones and various sensors.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Test desktop applications for functional and performance requirements
- Conduct field tests with drones and sensors (eg, methane detector, magnetometer, echo sounder, GPR) to validate HW/SW integration
- Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and track defects (Jira)
- Perform integration testing across software–hardware systems
- Create and run automated tests to support CI/CD
- Produce clear test reports and document results
- Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks/vulnerabilities
- Develop and execute tests for embedded systems and low-level interactions
- Help design and implement test environments for complex setups
Elvárások
- 2+ years as a software/hardware test engineer or developer
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Hands-on testing of systems involving both software and hardware
- Strong grasp of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and QA processes
- Ability to work with large datasets (find, aggregate, structure, prepare)
- Proficiency with Jira for task/defect management
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to turn requirements into test scenarios
- English proficiency: C1 (other languages are a plus)
- Category B driver's license and access to a car (office and field testing)

- Knowledge of drones or other robotic systems
- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (eg, Selenium, Appium)
- Familiarity with embedded software/systems, especially real-time control
- Experience with data-driven testing for sensor-based systems
- Exposure to hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proactive, able to work independently and in teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
