Responsibilities

Ownership and evolution of Tulip’s Cypress + TypeScript E2E automation framework
Integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Research and implementation of load and performance testing strategies
Application of AI-assisted tools to accelerate test generation and triage failures
Identification of opportunities to use AI for intelligent failure analysis, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted code review
Execution of exploratory, regression, and manual tests on new features
Mentorship of QA teammates promoting automation best practices and leading test plan reviews
Leadership of cross-functional quality initiatives coordinating with engineers across product teams
Serving as a quality advocate in engineering planning to ensure testability and quality standards

Requirements

4-7+ years of QA experience with a balanced blend of manual testing and automation
Hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript automation frameworks
Solid experience with API testing tools and automating API tests
Strong exploratory/manual testing skills for complex SaaS products
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Proven hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve testing quality, efficiency, or coverage
Demonstrated experience leading quality initiatives both formally and informally

Nice-to-have

Experience designing or implementing performance/load testing strategies
Exposure to other automation frameworks or languages
Interest in IoT technologies or embedded systems
Experience applying AI beyond test generation such as intelligent failure triage, anomaly detection, or AI-assisted code review for test suites
