Responsibilities

Ownership and evolution of Cypress + TypeScript E2E automation framework
Integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Research and implementation of load and performance testing strategies
Application of AI-assisted tools for test generation and failure triage
Identification of AI opportunities beyond test creation
Execution of exploratory, regression, and manual tests on new features
Mentorship of QA teammates on automation best practices
Leadership of cross-functional quality initiatives
Advocacy for quality in engineering planning

Requirements

4-7+ years of QA experience with manual testing and automation
Hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript automation frameworks
Experience with API testing tools and API test automation
Strong exploratory/manual testing skills for complex SaaS products
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Proven experience using AI-powered tools to improve testing quality and coverage
Demonstrated experience leading quality initiatives formally and informally

Nice-to-have

Experience designing or implementing performance/load testing strategies
Exposure to other automation frameworks or languages
Interest in IoT technologies or embedded systems
Experience applying AI beyond test generation such as failure triage and anomaly detection
