Responsibilities

  • Ownership and evolution of Tulip’s Cypress + TypeScript E2E automation framework
  • Integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
  • Research and implementation of load and performance testing strategies
  • Application of AI-assisted tools to accelerate test generation and triage failures
  • Identification of opportunities for AI use beyond test creation
  • Execution of exploratory, regression, and manual tests on new features
  • Mentorship of QA teammates on automation best practices
  • Leadership of cross-functional quality initiatives
  • Serving as a quality advocate in engineering planning

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of QA experience with manual testing and automation
  • Hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript automation frameworks
  • Experience with API testing tools and automating API tests
  • Strong exploratory/manual testing skills for complex SaaS products
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven experience using AI-powered tools to improve testing quality and coverage
  • Experience leading quality initiatives both formally and informally

Nice-to-have

  • Experience designing or implementing performance/load testing strategies
  • Exposure to other automation frameworks or languages
  • Interest in IoT technologies or embedded systems
  • Experience applying AI beyond test generation
