Responsibilities

Technology platform provision for research, implementation, delivery and execution of financial risk models
Onboarding of financial risk models to the platform
Collaboration with modellers on implementation and deployment of financial risk models
Understanding client requirements and translating them into software engineering tasks
Acting as subject matter expert towards modelling teams and product analysts
Working with modellers and product analysts to understand business and requirements
Implementation of business requirements on platform using engineering best practices
Facilitation of technical design and code review sessions
Incorporation of innovative solutions from latest developments in machine learning, quantitative finance, and technology
Enhancement of performance of existing models for efficient operation at scale
Implementation and maintenance of standard data/technology deployment workflow
Ensuring operational readiness of product and meeting customer incident SLAs

Requirements

Strong experience (3+ years) in Python
Bachelor’s (BSc) or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Pandas, Apache Arrow, Snowflake
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
Fluency with AI coding tools and use of LLM in everyday development
Good understanding of fundamental Algorithms and Data Structures
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and git, CI/CD
Good understanding of unit tests, integration and regression tests and their importance
Ability to understand advanced mathematical and statistical methods and concepts
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English

Nice-to-have

Experience with Prefect, Aptitude for designing data models and pipelines
