Responsibilities

Platform development supporting financial engineers and researchers
Technical design and code review sessions facilitation
Building widely used and reliable fundamental components as Python libraries
Building high quality software improving user experience for modellers and developers
Staying abreast of developments in machine learning, quantitative finance, and technology for platform innovation
Working with modellers to understand business and requirements
Refactoring and optimizing risk model code
Enhancing performance of existing models for efficient operation at scale
Implementation and maintenance of standard data and technology deployment workflow
Ensuring operational readiness and meeting customer incident SLAs

Requirements

Strong experience (5+ years) in Python
Bachelor's (BSc) or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
Experience with Pandas, Apache Arrow, Snowflake
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
Good understanding of fundamental Algorithms and Data Structures
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and git, CI/CD
Good understanding of unit tests, integration and regression tests
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English

Experience with Prefect, Aptitude for designing data models and pipelines, Experience managing a team of developers, Team player qualities, Problem-solving skills, Critical and analytical thinking, Technical curiosity, Adaptability
