Purchasing team leader
Task:
- Plan, supervise and coordinate personnel and processes within the operations area of Procurement and Supply Chain
- Implementing procurement strategy in the country
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the team. Supporting the buyers with instructions and guidelines when needed = functional competence development
- Assist in the development of efficient business practices to be implemented by Procurement
- Monitors the team’s activities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and provides support for both internal and external customers
- Cost budgeting, planning and cost control
- Tendering and purchasing the local services: communication, energy, vehicle leasing, IT equipment
- Following up of prices, quality and delivery times
- Weekly, monthly and long term supply planning
- Managing inventory– lifecycle management
- Approving new suppliers, supplier performance management including claim handling, supplier audits and evaluations
- Managing IT equipment purchasing and assets
- Managing company car fleet
Expectation:
- Procurement and Supply Chain professional, with his/her “heart and mind” fully engaged in procurement business
- Strong analyzing and negotiation skills
- Project management skills and experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian
- Ability to create strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers
- IT proficiency, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, various databases
- BSc or MSc in Engineering & Management or Economics
- Leadership experience is an advantage
