Purchasing team leader

Task:

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate personnel and processes within the operations area of Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Implementing procurement strategy in the country
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the team. Supporting the buyers with instructions and guidelines when needed = functional competence development
  • Assist in the development of efficient business practices to be implemented by Procurement
  • Monitors the team’s activities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and provides support for both internal and external customers
  • Cost budgeting, planning and cost control
  • Tendering and purchasing the local services: communication, energy, vehicle leasing, IT equipment
  • Following up of prices, quality and delivery times
  • Weekly, monthly and long term supply planning
  • Managing inventory– lifecycle management
  • Approving new suppliers, supplier performance management including claim handling, supplier audits and evaluations
  • Managing IT equipment purchasing and assets
  • Managing company car fleet

Expectation:

  • Procurement and Supply Chain professional, with his/her “heart and mind” fully engaged in procurement business
  • Strong analyzing and negotiation skills
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian
  • Ability to create strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers
  • IT proficiency, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, various databases
  • BSc or MSc in Engineering & Management or Economics
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
