Responsibilities

Full ownership of the operational purchasing:

Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, in close collaboration with Planner and Customer Services team
Determine resulting needs in terms of quantities and timing of deliveries
Prepare, submit and monitor purchase orders
Coordinate incoming inspection, by comparing items received to items ordered;
resolve shipment errors with suppliers.
Review and authorise payment for purchases, in coordination with Finance.
Manage Non-conformity quality cases with the suppliers
Manage purchasing side of new product development projects

Develop supplier partnerships, in coordination with general management:

Forecast price and market trends, to identify potential changes in supplier mix
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies among our European-wide suppliers base
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers, including quality performance review
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals at optimal terms

Requirements

Level of education & Experience in general

Higher education (master), Economic or Technical degree
Fluent in English
Experience within an international industrial purchasing environment, minimum 3 years

Specific knowledge

Proven track record in purchasing negotiations
Good knowledge of Office applications.
MRP / ERP knowledge is an advantage.
Languages : English, Hungarian
