Purchase to Pay Accountant

The main purpose of the AP Accountant is to process and handle supplier payments for both purchase order related and non-purchase order related payables and manage complex reconciliation activities.

About the job

Checking and matching invoice to purchase order
Booking the invoices to ledger
Supplier statement reconciliations and correct errors
Ledger reconciliation
Control the physical flow of an invoice in the approval process
Follow up on GIT, GRNI, PPV
Process master file amendments according to instructions
Co-operate with queries from third parties
To understand and follow all the processes in the AP manual, meeting SOX, ISO and audit requirements
To inform senior management of any irregularities or concerns
To attend training courses as directed
Handle special invoices (custom, agent, split, WHT tax)
Ledger accuracy
Aged item clearing
Ad-hoc tasks, everything else what the supervisor assigns to the job owner.

What we are looking for

Economics or Finance & Accounting BA/BSc degree
1 year of relevant experience
Fluency in English & Hungarian (both written and verbal)
Confident Excel & MS Office skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Developed analytical, Excellent interpersonal & Problem solving skills

Nice to have:

ERP system knowledge
Other European language knowledge is an advantage
