University studies
You have min. 1-2 years of relevant working experience
Willingness to travel
Understanding of Geospatial sotware
Excellent analytical skills, excel and PPT
Self motivated, hits deadlines critical thinking
Driving Licence - work independently
Good statistical knowledge and understanding

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

Developing a clear strategy identifying locations countrywide for Tesco expansion, including forecasting of sales, monitoring of competitors and use of data sets and geographic information systems mapping (GIS)

Developing a detailed strategy for Tesco expansion in Hungary, whilst contributing to similar strategies for Slovakia and Czech Republic
Providing detailed suitability overviews of specific sites based on multiple factors including population, affluence and competition
Providing sales forecasts for specific sites
Identifying and recommending data sets and tools to continually improve analysis of opportunities
Providing detailed maps for reports and presentations
Monitoring competitors and their expansion plan
Analysing and understanding sales performance in existing stores to assist in strategies and forecasting
Developing an understanding of entire assets - store, mall, car park
Participating and contributing to long term space strategies
Build, maintain and analyse key performance information databases (ie. analogue models, competitor databases)
Using statistical knowledge to prove the trends -correlations, multi-regression, clustering
Preparing business expansion packs for Hungary to assist the business in understanding what is happening in the market and overall opportunities
Actively participating and contributing to the overall property strategy and location planning team for Central Europe including support with maps, plans, analysis, excel data, etc.
Build, maintain, and optimize data quality across CE region
