PURPOSE OF JOB ROLE:

The Project Support Engineer will play a key role in supporting Clients OT Security BAU team within a regulated manufacturing environment. The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, align procedures across sites, and contribute to overall cybersecurity governance. The successful candidate will help drive continuous improvement of OT security controls and processes while ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the OT Security BAU team in maintaining and updating documentation related to cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards within regulated manufacturing environments
  • Ensure alignment and harmonization of cybersecurity procedures across global manufacturing sites.
  • Contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of OT security controls, including risk assessments and control effectiveness reviews.
  • Utilize tools such as Veeva or other regulated document management systems to manage documentation workflows in a GMP-compliant manner.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting progress of ongoing cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring alignment with clients cybersecurity framework and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

 

Area of Specialisation:

  • Automation Engineering, Information Technology, OT Cybersecurity, or Automation.

 

Why is this Level of Education Required?

  • A foundational understanding of engineering or IT principles is essential to interpret and apply OT security standards, compliance frameworks, and technical documentation within regulated manufacturing enviros.

 

Minimum Level of Job Related Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OT Cybersecurity or Automation within GMP-regulated manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with governance processes, SOP development, and regulated documentation systems (e.g., Veeva).
  • Familiarity with OT security frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443), network segmentation, and enabling services such as patching, antivirus, and asset inventory.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, IT, and Engineering stakeholders

  • Proficiency in documentation lifecycle management.
  • Experience with GxP and CFR Part 11 compliance.
  • Strong written communication and process improvement skills.
  • European citizenship (due to location and compliance requirements)
