Responsibilities

Coordination between cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams
Handling interdependencies and supporting lead project governance bodies and project workstreams
Collaboration with team members for timely and excellent execution of programs
Coordination of planning and logistics of conceptualization sessions, feasibility studies, process assessments and design workshops
Delivery of Service Delivery Model for smaller projects by translating customer requirements into Future State
Performing risks and process readiness assessments
Assisting Manager with larger projects
Execution of project plans and timely results
Periodic project plan assessments to ensure readiness and quality
Leading and implementing middle-sized projects or defined areas of major projects
Management of project requirements, results and progress throughout project lifecycle
Implementation of suitable approaches for timely completion of project results and objectives
Identification and handling of risks, issues, actions, decisions and interdependencies
Resolution of issues and handling critical path processes related to project delivery
Capturing project information, documents and communication of project status, results and barriers
Ownership of customer concern process and mitigation strategies for critical issues
Regular reporting and clear communication of project outcomes
Leading and reporting project portfolio of specific business or workstream
Driving portfolio progress and acting as single source of truth for overall health and savings pipeline
People management of Project Coordinator individuals and support in development and mentoring of team members
Building culture of excellence in line with Thermo Fisher Value

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably business-related or equivalent experience
5+ years of project involvement
Experience in Finance operations or Customer Service preferred
Project Management knowledge or certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) as an advantage
Proficiency in English verbal and written
Strong project management skills and capabilities
Experience in successfully leading project results and working on big projects
Ability to work independently, proactively and collaboratively across teams
Capability of handling multiple projects simultaneously and efficient time management
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Sound workshop facilitation skills
Strong collaboration skills and effective teamwork
Ability to handle highly critical information in line with confidentiality expectations
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
